贵州省仁怀市茅台镇王宗德酿酒厂坐落于贵州省仁怀市茅台镇。是以具有传统酿酒手艺的家族传承人为技术骨干的民营企业。现酒厂有三个生产车间，一个制曲车间，共128个窖池，年产量1200余吨。

茅台镇王氏家族酿酒历史悠久。清朝末年，王宗德祖父王泽履（1858-1931，
号立夫）创立酒坊，酿制出远近闻名的“茅台酒”（俗称“王茅”），并于1915年获得在美国旧金山举办的“巴拿马万国博览会”金奖。1935年，红军三渡
赤水经过茅台，王宗德父亲王承俊用酒给病伤员外敷内服，救治了很多人。从家族酿酒至今，已传承六代，经历了一百八十余年，是茅台镇历史上有据可察（有文献
记载、有遗址为证）且流传有序的、历史较久的酿酒家族，也是公认的茅台酒之源，茅酒之根。
The Wang family of Maotai Town has a long history of winemaking. In the late Qing Dynasty, Wang Zongde's grandfather Wang Zelü (1858-1931, courtesy name Lifu) established a distillery, producing the renowned "Moutai Liquor" (commonly called "Wang Mou"). This liquor won a gold medal at the 1915 Panama International Exposition in San Francisco, USA. In 1935, when the Red Army crossed the Chishui River three times and passed through Maotai, Wang Zongde's father Wang Chengjun used the liquor for external and internal applications on wounded soldiers, saving many lives. The family's winemaking tradition has been passed down through six generations over 180 years, making it the oldest documented and orderly inherited winemaking family in Maotai Town's history (with written records and physical evidence). It is widely recognized as the origin of Moutai liquor and the root of KwaiChow Muotai .
改革开放以后，王茅传人王宗德恢复酿造“王茅”酒。经历了几十年的发展，王泽履嫡孙王宗德携膝下子女，为延续酒坊祖传手艺，成立王宗德酿酒厂。秉承宽厚诚

After the reform and opening-up, Wang Zongde, inheritor of the Wang Mao distillery, revived the production of "WangMou" liquor. After decades of development, Wang Zongde, the direct grandson of Wang Zelü, established Wang Zongde Distillery with his children to preserve the ancestral brewing techniques. Upholding the family values of generosity and integrity, they employed traditional methods and family-secret koji-making techniques passed down orally from ancestors. Using local red sorghum from Maotai River Valley and crystal-clear Chishui River water, they crafted authentic, original-flavored liquor. The legendary "Wang Mao" finally shed its historical dust and regained its classic status.
